HSC results 2020: 17,043 of the GPA 5 achievers didn't get GPA 5 in SSC, JSC
A total of 17,043 candidates, who did not get GPA 5 in their SSC and JSC results, were awarded the maximum grade point average in last year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent results.

HSC, equivalent results 2020: 11.83% students awarded GPA 5, pass rate 100%
A total of 1,61,807 students achieved GPA 5, the maximum grade point average, in last year's Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations.

11-year low
This year's HSC exams success rate is the lowest in 11 years and it dropped 2.29 percentage points from last year's 66.84 percent owing to students' poorer performance in English, physics and ICT.

18,930 get GPA-5 in Dhaka board
As many as 18,930 students score GPA-5 under Dhaka Education Board in the HSC examinations this year with 69.74 percent pass rate.
