Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mustafizur Rahman and Mahmudullah has been picked up by Pakistan Super League outfits in the Player Draft on that took place today.
Both Shakib Al Hasan and Tamim Iqbal were picked up by Peshwar Zalmi while Lahore Qalanders picked up Bangladesh’s prized asset Mustafizur Rahman.
Shakib Al Hasan has been retained in the Peshwar Zalmi side but Tamim Iqbal is set to feature for the Peshwar team for the first time.
Quetta Gladiators drafted in Bangladesh’s Mahmudullah Riyad. The all-rounder was retained by the PSL outfit who have built their side around Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed.
The PSL is set to begin on February next year. Last season had seen a main draft held before teams were allowed to transfer their players, and this was followed by a mini-Draft going into the final of the Pakistan Super League that was held in Lahore.
