2 held for CU admission fraud

Law enforcers today detained two students for their alleged involvement in fraudulent activities during the admission test for ‘E’ unit of Chittagong University (CU).

The detainees are Kamrul Islam, a student of Institute of Education and Research at Dhaka University, and Imran Hossain, an anthropology student of CU, said Naimul Hasan, additional superintendent of police (special branch) in the district.

Four smart watches and Bluetooth earphones were also seized from them, the police official told our CU correspondent.

The detainees are members of a syndicate which is involved in question paper leakage and fraudulent activities during admission tests and different recruitment examinations, he added.
