Bappa Mazumder’s upcoming compilation of singles to feature celebrated singers

Popular musician Bappa Mazumder is set to launch his new venture, with some of the most celebrated singers of the country. The songs, composed by Mazumder himself, will be released serially on his official YouTube channel.

The series is a compilation of singles, featuring singers such as Samina Chowdhury, Alif Alauddin, Elita Karim, Farhin Khan Joyita, Dilshad Nahar Kona, and Konal.

As a part of the initiative, Kona's song, titled "Mon Bhalo" has already been recorded. Currently, preparations for the video of the song are underway. The track is penned by Shahan Kabandho. On the other hand, the song to be voiced by Elita Karim is written by Sheikh Rana.

"The compositions will radiate the essence of our tradition and culture, blended with different genres preferred by our masses," says Mazumder, who is also the producer of the project. "Ear-pleasing singles paired with creatively crafted videos are trendy these days. I believe listeners who complain about not finding enough quality content will find something to enjoy from this series."

This project proved to be risky for Mazumder. "During this pandemic, the demand for online content is rising by the day. But despite some of the media content reaching a significant number of views, we seldom see quality content for our audience," he adds.

The musician is also busy with making original songs for himself. He recently composed a song written by Mohsin Mehdi, and sung two songs for the mixed album "Oishorjo". The two songs, written by Asif Iqbal and composed by Kishore, are a duet featuring Mazumder and Samina Chowdhury, and a solo number by Mazumder himself.
