A two-day programme titled “Panir Galpo” (tale of water) to raise awareness about diarrhoea kicked off in Kushtia town on October 4.

Unilever Pureit and The Daily Star jointly organised the event at Mohini Mohon Bidyapith in Milpara area of the town.

First day of the event included training on awareness building among school students about diarrhoea and held a rally highlighting the issue

On the final day, to make it a unique occasion, 100 poor families were supplied with water purifiers.
