Acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee recently won the award for “Best Actor” at the 10th Asia Pacific Screen Awards for his impeccable role in Hansal Mehta's “Aligarh”. He bagged the award by a narrow margin over Nawazuddin Siddiqui, yet another powerful actor, who was awarded with a “Special Mention” in a ceremony that took place in Brisbane, Australia.
Manoj was rejected by the National School of Drama (NSD), which is one of India's most prestigious theatre schools, four times. His consistent efforts towards self-development have helped him reach the enviable position in Bollywood today. He was last seen in “Saat Uchakkey”, a film by Sanjeev Sharma.
