Hugh Jackman Publicly Announces the End of Wolverine

After his emotionally stirring role in last year's film Logan, Hugh Jackman's role as the iconic comicbook character-come-to-life Wolverine was finally over. However, since then, many news sources stated that this was not the case, claiming Hugh Jackman might just return as the Wolverine with X-Men's integration into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The rumors were put to rest when the actor himself addressed this issue in a recent interview. After being honored with the Best Actor Award at the 2018 Empire Awards ceremony held last Sunday, Jackman publicly announced that he would no longer continue as Wolverine or Logan. “There will be Logan, just that it won't be me,” stated Hugh Jackman. He claimed that there was nothing more to be done with his character, and that Logan had truly meant the end of Hugh Jackman as the comic book superhero. One thing for certain; no matter who replaces him, fans will always remember Hugh Jackman as the iconic Wolverine!
