Indian police return 8 Bangladeshis

Indian police yesterday returned eight Bangladeshi nationals, including three children, who were detained for entering India illegally.

They were handed over to Bangladesh police through Sonamasjid check-post in Shibganj upazila.

Shibganj Police Station Inspector Kabir Hossain said Border Security Force (BSF) of India detained them from different bordering areas.

Later, they were sent to a shelter home in the Indian state of Pashchimbanga.
