Apollo Hospitals to treat girl with tumour

Seven-year-old Zannatun, bed-ridden for brain tumour since birth, can now hope for a normal life as Apollo Hospitals Dhaka has taken the responsibility to treat her following a Daily Star report published under the title “The girl who cannot raise her head” on Wednesday.

“We told them to come to the hospital by Saturday,” Akter Jamil Ahmed, DGM (Business Development) of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka, told this correspondent over phone.

The girl's father Abdul Amin, an imam of Shantinagar mosque in Joypurhat municipality, said they are going to Dhaka by an intercity train on Friday [today] night.
