On-demand ridesharing platform Uber yesterday launched its service in Chittagong, the second biggest city of Bangladesh.
Uber through a press release said they launched three types of services for the commuters that include UberX, UberHire and UberMOTO.
Quoting Prabhjeet Singh, regional general manager of Uber, the release said Uber had been receiving overwhelming response from riders and drivers since the start of their journey more than a year ago in Dhaka.
“We are thrilled to be here in Chittagong, second biggest metropolitan city of Bangladesh. We will be able to provide mobility options and flexible income opportunities to the citizens of Chittagong,” the release added quoting Singh.
