Rajshahi Jamaat man charged with war crimes

The prosecution yesterday pressed four charges against Abdus Samad Musa, 61, a Jamaat-e-Islami activist from Rajshahi, for his alleged involvement in war crimes during the Liberation War.

He was allegedly involved in murder, torture, looting and arson in Puthia and Durgapur upazilas, according to the charge sheet. He was arrested in January last year.  

The International Crimes Tribunal-1 yesterday fixed May 20 to decide whether it would take the charges into cognisance.b
