Maiden data centre summit kicks off in dhaka

Two day long eight-nation summit on data centre and green technology kicked off in Dhaka last Friday. Engineers' Institute Bangladesh President Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan inaugurated the international summit as chief guest at Krishibid Institute. Bangladesh Computer Society, Computer Engineering Division of IEB, ASHRARE and DCicon jointly organised this one of a kind summit.

While addressing as the chief guest, IEB President Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan said that Bangladeshi engineers has excelled in data centre technology in recent years. “This kind of summit becomes an occasion for national and international level experts in the field to strengthen the resource through knowledge sharing. There are over 500 data centres in our country where the engineers, manufacturers are providing global standard services,” Bhuiyan added.
