And what is that?

Mim: It's because my parents are able to join me. Usually it's my mother who joins me on my travels abroad, so this trip has been quite special to our family. This is my first long break in a while, and we have chosen to visit Canada because my sister goes to university here.

What does taking a break really mean to you?

Mim: Taking a break means I do not have hear the words “Makeup, Camera, Action”. I don't have to worry about a script, and allow myself to sleep and wander without having to think about tomorrow.

Which cities have you visited so far in Canada?

Mim: Our first stop was Montreal, followed by Toronto.

Have you met your Bangladeshi-Canadian fans?

Mim: The people here have been so warm and positive in receiving me. It feels quite wonderful to see so many Bangladeshis so far away from home. Many have praised my performances in films and on television, which touched me. This is what I find most fulfilling as an artiste.
