Noted actor Ariful Haque's stay in Bangladesh comes to an end today as he flies back to Canada where he now lives. The actor was honoured for his lifetime artistic contributions by the news portal bbarta24.net at their main office premises on November 29.
Guests present at the occasion included director Matin Rahman, actor Arzuman Ara Bokul, journalist Shah Alam Shazu, and other media persons. The programme was hosted by Ovi Moinuddin. Matin Rahman said, “I am meeting Ariful Haque after a long time, and there are no words to describe the magnitude of his talents with which he has delivered them. He is a generous, down to earth man, and I would like to express my gratitude to the organisers of this event, for arranging a fitting tribute for him.”
A deeply moved Ariful Haque, whose visit to Bangladesh is the first in five years, said, “I will preserve this memory. I am deeply grateful to the organisers of this event for arranging this momentous occasion.”
